Krög Agent/Alerts & rules
Alerts that come with a next step.
Krög Agent compares every campaign with its own recent history and with the rules you write. When something moves, you get one message: what changed, by how much, and one proposed action.
01What it watches
Eight kinds of alerts, one format.
Every alert says what changed, by how much, compared with what — and, where it makes sense, proposes one action.
Metric drift
Cost per result, ROAS, CTR or frequency moving away from the campaign's own recent baseline — not only past a fixed line.
e.g. CPA 32% above its 7-day average
Your thresholds
Hard lines you set yourself: a CPA ceiling, a ROAS floor, a projected daily spend.
e.g. ROAS below 1.8× for 6 hours
Delivery stopped
A campaign that should be spending isn't — with the reason the platform gives, when it gives one.
e.g. No impressions for 45 minutes
Budget pacing
Ahead of or behind a daily or weekly target, with a proposed budget that brings it back on pace.
e.g. Brand A 12% behind the weekly target
Ad review notices
An ad rejected or limited in the platform's review, with the policy the platform cited and a link to its own appeal process.
e.g. 1 ad rejected · policy cited
Balance and billing
A low prepaid balance on accounts Krög manages, linked to the top-up in your dashboard. The agent never moves money.
e.g. Balance covers about 2 days
Tracking gaps
Conversions that stop reporting while spend carries on — usually a pixel or tag worth checking.
e.g. 0 conversions in 4 hours, spend normal
Creative fatigue
Frequency climbing while click-through falls on the same ad — a sign it is time for new creative.
e.g. Frequency 4.2, CTR down 28%
02Write a rule
Plain words in, one sentence out.
Pick a metric, a line and a window. Read the rule back as a sentence, and see the message it would send. Rules alert or propose — they never act.
Your rule, in plain words
If cost per result goes above $20 for 2 hours on any ad set in Q4 Launch, message me and propose pausing it. During quiet hours, hold it for the 8:00 AM brief.
A proposal waits for a yes. If nobody confirms within the window you set, it expires and nothing changes.
- Window
- last 2 hours
- Rule set by
- you
03Starter rules
You write them. It follows them.
Plain language, no builder. A rule can alert you or propose a change — never make one. Switch these on and off to see how a set reads.
Your rules · example
4 onRules apply to the accounts you choose. When one fires you get a message — an alert, or a proposal that does nothing until someone with the right role confirms it.
04Noise control
Fewer messages that matter more.
An assistant that pings all night gets muted. Every alert has a level, and each level has its own way of reaching you.
Three levels
- InfoGoes into the next briefSmall moves worth knowing about, not worth a message.
- Heads-upA message now, quiet hours respectedSomething crossed a rule and has a proposed action.
- UrgentA message now, then the teammate on shiftBudget at risk or delivery stopped. If nobody answers in 15 minutes, it goes to the next person.
Quiet hours
Pick the hours and time zone. Non-urgent alerts wait for the morning brief.
One thread per incident
Follow-ups land in the same thread instead of a new message every few minutes.
Snooze
Mute a rule or a campaign for an hour, a day, or until you turn it back on.
Escalation
Unanswered urgent alerts move to whoever is on shift, with the full context.
