How to structure a Meta Business Manager for scale

An asset, permission and billing layout that keeps a growing team organised and keeps reviews short.

A Business Manager that works for one buyer rarely works for five. The layout below is what we recommend for teams that expect to add people, pages and payment methods every month.

Separate ownership from operation

Keep one admin-only Business Manager that owns pages, pixels and verified domains. Give day-to-day buyers access through partner sharing, or through a second operating Business Manager, so a single compromised login never exposes every asset you own.

One ad account per offer, not per buyer

Ad accounts that map to offers keep billing history, conversion data and creative learnings together when a buyer leaves. Name them consistently — brand, GEO, offer, sequence number — so anyone can find the right account without asking.

Billing hygiene

  • Attach a primary and a backup payment method to every account before it goes live.
  • Set spend limits at the account level, not only inside campaigns.
  • Review payment-method ownership monthly and remove anything tied to a former team member.

Teams that follow this layout spend less time in reviews and recover faster when an asset is restricted, because nothing critical lives in one place.
